This is a very popular area in Xi’an, there are hundreds of stalls selling everything from savoury food, snacks, sweets to clothes and souvenirs. it is an experience just to walk through the area even if you are not there to eat or purchase any goods. this market is so much fun. the combination of the cultures presents many things and the whole atmosphere is fantastic.

Xi’an Mosque
Calm and beautiful, very well maintained gardens. it’s actually inside the Muslim Quarter but kind of hide behind the back, and definitely a must see if you are in the area and a nice escape from the busy surrounding streets, not like any other mosque I’ve seen.
